First Car

By admin On December 11th, 2008

I’m helping my cousin right now as he looks for his very first self-earned vehicle since my uncle doesn’t want to lend him the family car anymore since that last incident that he had a year ago. The situation was he needed to go to the nearest convenient store one night and he took the car without telling his dad. He was already driving back home from the convenient store when all of a sudden an unleashed dog run across the street and he had to make an emergency turn. Nothing bad happened to him and the car was in one piece, but there was this big scratch at the side of the car that got him in trouble.

Right now, he was telling me to look for a Toyota RAV4 since he really like it. He said he would even settle for a second hand Toyota RAV4 if his money doesn’t allow him to buy a brand new one. I told him it would be better to just get a second hand car since he can just personalize it anytime. I have made some used car search and got some results already… I just hope we get a good deal from those results.

Strange Story About Tires

By admin On December 4th, 2008

One funny story that I would like to share right now… I have a cousin that I just can’t understand. The guy owns some set of wheels but he does not use them. He’s got a motorcycle and two carsmoto, but for some strange reason, they don’t have tires. Don’t get me wrong here though ladies and gentlemen because my cousin is completely sane. He always thinks logical and he’s got to be one of the smartest persons that I have ever known, but as I have said, his wheels just don’t have tires. I wanted to ask him why but we’re not really that close and I’m worried he might get offended since we only really see each other every once in a while, or if there is a special occasion. At least I think I already know what to give him this yuletide season, but I guess I’ll just give him some tires for the motorcycle, on the account that car tires are a little bit expensive. I just hope that once I get to give him the pair of tires that I will be giving him, he starts using his wheels so he won’t look weird anymore.

A Dilemma with Parts

By admin On December 4th, 2008

We were in search of some auto parts because my friend’s car had some accident and there was a missing part that is really important that the car needs to have before he could actually drive the thing. He is a little stingy and he wants to find some cheap BMW parts available, but we are having some problems because whenever we see the part that he needed, he just don’t like buying them because he would reason out that he can still look for something cheaper than what we have already seen. He keeps on insisting that we could still find cheaper ones somewhere else, and it’s just becoming too annoying now. If only his car was a Mercedes it would have been easier because I know a couple of dealers that could provide him with just about any stuff, but then again, I’m not that lucky so I am stuck with this situation whether I like it or not. I’d want to give up on him but I can’t afford it because he always allows me to borrow the car and this is one of my ways to thank him. I guess the next time we get to another shop, I’ll just be the one to pay it for him so we could get this over with.

Car Safety is More Than Just Putting Seatbelts

By admin On December 2nd, 2008

I have been in constant debate with a friend nowadays as we talk about cars, and how car insurance can actually save him a lot. He kept on saying that he doesn’t need to have a car insurance because it would just add up to his expenses, as he as currently paying his monthly dues with the car loans. He said that it is not something of importance to him and we will just end up spending some more, instead of just including it on the payment of his loan. I told him that he might end up losing more money if in case he didn’t get anything to protect his investment. I told him that no matter what, he has to have a car insurance so at least, if things go wrong, he doesn’t need to shell out a lot of funds because his insurance will be the one to take care of it. He just keep on insisting that it’s just the car company’s way to earn more and he doesn’t need it. I just replied that one day, once the situation calls for it, he will most definitely regret that he said that line because quite frankly, I have known people that did the same mistake and they ended up paying for something that they no longer use…
